Frequently Asked Questions
Get instant parameters on file requirements, structural properties, material configurations, and our active print pipeline limits.
What 3D file extensions do you accept for quotation? ▼
We primarily interface with .STEP or .STP models for structural prototyping as they retain native solid geometries. We also fully accept high-resolution .STL and .OBJ meshes. If your file contains multiple sub-assemblies, please extract them into individual parts or pack them cleanly in a single ZIP file.
What dimensional tolerance can your system hold? ▼
Our optimized equipment runs within a baseline tolerance matrix of **±0.2mm** for standard prints. For tight clearance mechanical assemblies (like nested bearings or interlocking drone frame arms), please label critical fit zones in an associated drawing or message so we can fine-tune slicing compensation factors.
How do I choose between PLA and PETG for my component? ▼
It comes down to your operating envelope:
- PLA (Premium Dowell): Extremely rigid, holds brilliant details, and offers the highest dimensional accuracy. Best for presentation mockups, airflow channels, and static enclosures.
- PETG (Tough/Engineering): Superior impact resistance, flexural strength, and thermal stability (withstands up to roughly 70°C to 80°C environments before softening). Recommended for functional outdoor assemblies, RC field equipment, and drone structural points.
Can I specify internal infill densities for high-load applications? ▼
Yes. Our base configuration standard is 15% to 20% infill using structural Gyroid patterns for general enclosures. For parts handling structural torque or high vibrational stresses, we can scale density parameters up to **100% solid infill** with reinforced perimeter walls to maximize mechanical shear thresholds.
How fast can I receive my completed prints after file verification? ▼
Standard, low-volume components are routinely processed and ready for collection or dispatch within **24 to 48 hours** following final build clearance. Complex multi-part configurations, mass production batches, or massive-volume continuous prints depend directly on total layer duration and physical cooling requirements.
How to start/avail? ▼
For quotation, kindly send:
- STL/3MF/STEP/OBJ file
- Material required (PLA, PETG, ABS, ASA, TPU)
For drawing/modeling, kindly send:
- 2D reference
- Dimensions
- Important reminders
Please note:
- One day process for small models; big models vary
- Same day pickup/delivery is not always applicable unless advised. If it requires, we may ask for a rush fee if we will have to prioritize yours)
Thank you!

Client's liability for failed prints due to faulty file ▼
Please thoroughly double-check the models that require correction, as the slicer does not always detect all issues with 100% accuracy. In some cases, a print may fail unexpectedly, and it is only at that point that we discover the file was actually defective.
If such an issue occurs—even if the print has already started or completed and the defect is only identified afterward—we will no longer be held liable. In such cases, a new payment will be required for the reprinting of the model.
